Title: Devil's Dyke
Description: Naturally formed, this deep dry valley is a popular venue for outdoor sports. Fantastic views greet the traveller who make their way up the road to the Iron Age promontory fort, which consists of a single rampart with an external ditch. In Victorian times, there was a cable car across the valley, which legend says was dug by the devil in an attempt to allow the sea to engulf the many churches that exist in the area. Refreshments can be found at the pub located at the top.
