Description: Built in the early 1700s, High Salvington Windmill stands on the South Downs at a height of 320 feet (97 metres) and overlooks Worthing and the sea. It was last used as a mill in 1897 and between 1912 and the 1950s it was home to a tea room. In 1976 a project was started with the aim of returning the mill to full working order.
