Title: Memorial Gardens
Description: It was shortly after the First World War, before Crawley was designated a 'new' town, that Memorial Gardens was created. Local residents raised the funds for the purchase of the land in memory of those who fell, and today it is a great place to ponder, relax or enjoy a town centre lunch break. The area is planted with seasonal bedding, mature trees, has a number of examples of public art and features an enclosed children's playing area.
Address: Parkside, , Crawley, West Sussex
