Title: Robertsbridge Abbey
Description: The only Cistercian monastery in Sussex, the building once stood 210 feet (70 metres) long. Parts of the refectory and abbot's house, which were built around 1225 remain, although these are now incorporated into a private dwelling. With a vaulted undercroft, a thirteenth-century roof and an impressive west window which is visible from the road.
