Title: St Mary's, Horsham
Description: Built in the early thirteenth century (although parts date to Norman times), St Mary's is located at the end of The Causeway in Horsham. Outside, the church is adorned with buttresses and a tall shingled spire. Inside is an effigy of Thomas Braose dressed in his knights armour (he died in 1395) and an inscribed tablet in commemoration of Percy Shelley (1792 - 1822), who was one of England's greatest lyrical poets and was born in Broadbridge Heath.
